WTH HMV!?

I walked into HMV today all pumped to buy the new Flyleaf and Switchfoot albums expecting to pay around $25. I would've ended up paying $35 + tax. Flyleaf was priced at $15 (without tax) which is kinda pricey considering new releases are usually $12 but I figured whatever and then I saw the Switchfoot album.

Without tax.

WTF!?

Who is gonna buy a 12 track CD with no bonus features for $20!? This is why so many people just download music. Why pay $35 + tax for something you can download in less than 5 minutes for free? How does HMV think they're gonna make money when a lot of their customers are students with low income? I ended up not getting the CDs, hopefully Costco will have them in stock soon. -_-

I've serously fallen in love with Tess, she's such a cool character! XD How is that Smallville is able to make awesome characters yet totally trash them at the same time?

When I was doing lessons to get my SCUBA lessons the instructor asked me if I wanted to shell out an extra $200 to learn how to use a dry suit. At the time I thought what a waste of money it was just so I could be little bit warmer so I didn't do it. Diving in Mexico a couple months ago only confirmed by belief and boosted my confidence. So this week I felt really smug during the theory classes 'cause everyone was worried about having a teenager on dive so I was so pumped to prove them all wrong on Saturday and show them what an awesome diver I am!

Stuff like this makes me realize what an idoit I can be.

I have this hate/love relationship with shows that already have an ending like Smallville so I'm having a hard time loving Merlin mostly 'cause I'm heart broken over Chlark & Arthur/Morgana. XD

Basically most of  the episodes have this 'Save Arthur' ('cause that guy can't do shit without Merlin for some reason)  plot that follows this formula: 1) Merlin looks for spells 2) Can't find any so he goes to the Dragon 3) Dragon tries to manipulate/help Merlin 4) Merlin ignores him and does his own thing 5) Arthur is alive! So you're not watching for the plot that's for sure however the characters really do grow on you so it's worth watching a couple episodes especially when there is not much to watch during the summer.

I think the acting is spot on and the quality of the show is pretty good like  the costumes (srs I wanna steal thier costume designer), stunts and the props. It sounds bad but it's actually really entertaining the only thing that sucks is the writing of the characters with 2 exceptions.

It's scary how much this show reminds me of Smallville. Did anyone else see Morgana as Chloe/Davis? No matter how good they're reasons they're always painted as the bad guy. Ugh I don't even wanna think about Merlin/Gwen as Clark. Let's hope Merlin learns from Smallville's mistakes! XD

 So I finally saw the tv show. It's not horrible. But it's not fantastic. Then again this is the first 20 minute show I've watched since Reba ended so my standards are bit high for sitcoms. It's got some clever dialogue and I just love the banter between the Stratfords. They got the family humour and drama spot on! My only beef is the characters.

( My Thoughts... )All in all, if you haven't seen it you should check it out at the very least. Interesting fact: "The series premiere brought in 1.60 million viewers, a record for a 30 minute show.^"

So I saw HP today! I won't give away any spoilers so you're safe! This movie by far was the best movie quality wise. The pics were amazing and for once I was hating any of the actors. :D

All I can say is:

MOAR LUNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Serously, Luna barely had any scenes!! Although... with the scenes she got I'm starting to think the producers, writers or directors (or someone else important) are Harry/Luna shippers!!!!! Which is kinda nice 'cause Harry/Ginny always seems to fall flat for me. I just don't feel it with them.

It's kinda strange wanting more Snape 'cause  the book was pretty much all about him but I didn't get a feel for Snape during the movie. :/

So the wedding was great minus the part where my brother came knocking on my door at 3 AM in only his underwear 'cause he couldn't get into his room. ?? He still won't tell me why he was only wearing his underpants. XP

Ireland was fun but boring. The people are great it's just there's nothing to do besides hang out in pubs and drunk. I got to kiss the Blarney Stone twice! I kissed it once then I had to do it again 'cause my uncle forgot to take a picture. XD It's actually pretty scary kissing the stone especailly when your 5 ft 1 like me. There's one guy holding you and shoving your face at the stone as soon as you lay the ground. My back wasn't even touching the floor!

The pics of me don't really show you how big the gap is between the floor and the stone so I got a pic from google!



So I came home ready to download all the tv shows that I've missed and what do I find? No Tvfreeload! At least not the forum so I have no where to download shows!  So now I'm waiting for repeats on tv! D: It really sucks 'cause I was planning on making lots of vids this summer!
Does anyone know where to download TV shows that aren't torrents? Please and Thank You!

1) I don't like Twilight. Read the first book, watched the movie and was bored. (Taylour Lautner is 10 times hotter than Robert Patterson) XD

2) 24 got old after the second season. :(

3) Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco sound exactly a like. ;P

4) I'm tired of Clois after 70 years of the same old thing. Give Chlark a chance.

5) The only person I didn't like in the Superman movies was Christopher Reeves. Amazing as he was I hated his Clark Kent/Superman :/

Hey F-List! I've decided I'm gonna start pimping stuff I'm into (like TV shows, books, sports, movies) on my journal so hopefully you can get in to it, you can see what I like and of course find even more things in common with eachother.

I've just finished watching the first season of The Listener! It's a pretty cool show about a paramedic that is a telepath. Sounds lame I know but it's actually a lot of fun! It's got a mix of 24, CSI and  ER. Best of all it's a canadian show that loves showing off Toronto! Only a matter of time till we get a CSI: Vancouver! :P BTW the show has only just started airing in North America and is doing fantastic internationally. No joke the Italians really dig this show! :D So you can get the entire season online before it airs in North America. .......You didn't hear from me! XD

 It took me a couple episodes to get into the show but it was worth 'cause I just adore it and last few episodes were fantastic! O.O There are barely any english promos for this show on youtube! They're all in European languages and Spanish!
